If your pet is having an emergency that exceeds our urgent care capabilities, can’t wait for an appointment, or becomes seriously ill or injured while our clinic is closed, don’t wait—please head to one of Calgary’s 24-hour emergency veterinary hospitals right away.

Emergency hospitals

Whenever possible, phone ahead as you’re leaving. This gives the emergency team a chance to prepare for your arrival and offer guidance on keeping your pet safe and comfortable while getting to the emergency centre.

We recommend keeping the number and address of your nearest 24-hour hospital saved in your phone and posted somewhere visible at home, so you’re not searching for it in a stressful moment.
