FOUNDER + HEAD OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
Dr. Catherine (Caitlyn) Krolik
From a young age, Dr. Krolik had a passion for learning about and caring for animals, shaped by caring for her two golden retrievers, volunteering with the SPCA, riding horses, and working on a dairy farm.
As a veterinarian, Dr. Krolik provides the highest standard of care by continually refining her medicine, building trusted relationships with pet parents, and treating both her team and every patient with the greatest care and respect. Dr. Krolik recognizes that every pet is a deeply valued member of the family and approaches each patient with that same level of thoughtfulness and compassion.
Dr. Krolik founded Era Vet to create the kind of clinic she has always believed in — one where pets receive thoughtful, personalized care, families feel informed and supported, and the team is valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work.

ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
Dr. Dara McQueen
Dr. McQueen’s passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age, fuelled by a lifelong love for animals. She cannot remember a time when she didn’t want to be surrounded by animals, and feels incredibly fortunate to have built a career centred around their health and happiness.
One of the most rewarding aspects of veterinary medicine for Dr. McQueen is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with both pets and their families. She values the trust that develops between a veterinarian, their patients, and their owners, and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based medicine while ensuring every pet feels comfortable, respected, and cared for.
Dr. McQueen is passionate about advocating for patients who cannot speak for themselves and believes that the best veterinary care comes from working together. She enjoys collaborating with pet owners and the entire veterinary team to create individualized treatment plans that support each patient’s unique needs and help them live happy, healthy lives.
