For pets, that means longer appointment times of 40-60 minutes, a calmer environment, low-stress handling, and thoughtful, personalized care that is never rushed. Our open-concept clinic is designed to keep pets close to their families whenever possible, and our team is committed to staying current with leading training, certifications, and technology.
For pet families, it means a more transparent, supportive experience from start to finish. We’re creating a clinic with extended hours (8-8 M-F, and 9-5 Sat + Sun), clear communication, informed consent, transparent pricing to ensure you always know what is happening and what to expect.

We offer a full range of care, from wellness and preventive visits to urgent care, surgery, and dentistry. Our clinic also provides advanced diagnostic imaging, including X-rays and ultrasound, in-house diagnostics, a complete pharmacy, as well as treatments like laser therapy. Our veterinarians are proudly Fear Free® certified and we are pursuing the veterinary practice certification. This means we follow leading scientific and behavioural practices to help pets feel safer, calmer and more at ease during their visit.
It means we’ve completed additional training to provide more tailored care for cats and senior dogs. For cats, that includes feline-focused handling, exams, and treatment approaches designed to support both their health and comfort. For senior dogs, it means a deeper understanding of aging, mobility, pain, and the changing needs that come with growing older. Our goal is to stay up-to-date with the best care available for our patients.
An open-concept clinic means your pet is never taken “to the back.” You’re welcome to be as included as you’d like during your pet’s visit (except during specific procedures and surgeries), and our space is designed to feel open, calm, and transparent through details like glass walls and a sofa in the treatment area for extra comfort and inclusion.
Yes. We offer wellness exams and preventive care, along with urgent care when your pet needs us most.
Urgent care is for medical concerns that should be seen soon, but are not life-threatening, such as vomiting, diarrhea, limping, skin or ear infections, or minor wounds, etc. Emergency care is for serious or life-threatening situations that need immediate attention and potentially 24hr care. Era Vet is here for urgent concerns, but pets with severe or potentially life-threatening symptoms should go directly to an emergency veterinary hospital.
